Jack Pine Studio

Jack Pine studied glass blowing at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He then moved out West and worked for several glass studios in Seattle and Denver before starting his own studio. His objective as an artist is to create organic art forms out of glass, using incredibly rich colors and a unique style. His perfection comes from 20 plus years of careful attention to detail.

He enjoys experimenting with a large variety of precious metals and enamels, by layering them on top of each other in order to create the most unique designs. Jack was also born and raised in Circleville, a tiny town in Central Ohio which is home to the world’s largest pumpkin show every October.
These roots have inspired him to perfect the glass pumpkin, which you can find
in museums and fine art galleries across the country.

Each pumpkin is hand blown at 2000 degrees. We start with just a small gather of clear glass and then create our designs with layers of colored enamels and precious metals. No paints are used at any time during the process. Jack's objective as an artist is to create organic forms out of glass using incredibly rich colors and textures.
